Add a new agent version to the ZeroLock Management Console using the Upload Agent feature or the Command Line.
For a new version of a ZeroLock Agent to be available for updating endpoints, it must first be added to the ZeroLock Management Console (ZMC). There are two ways this may be accomplished.
- Using the ZeroLock® Upload Agent (available with ZMC v3.3.x) or
- Command Line.

Upload New Agent Version
- Once the new ZA version has been downloaded go to the Deploy window and select UPLOAD AGENT. Notice that the current agent version is 3.5.12.
- In the UPLOAD AGENT dialog box, click Browse to go to the location of the file you previously downloaded.
- The new version file was saved to the Download folder in this example.
- On selecting Open the UPLOAD AGENT dialog box reappears with the new .tgz file listed. Click UPLOAD.
- You are returned to the DEPLOY window. To install the new ZA version, go to Advanced Settings and select the new version from the dropdown menu, then click Save As Default.
- You returned to the Deploy window. Notice that the agent version has changed from 3.5.11 to 3.5.12.
